Description

Our Client  is looking for a public relations specialist who will be responsible for public relations initiatives within the company. The person will create, manage and implement PR campaigns with the goal of enriching our client  position within the public eye and maintain strong relationships with media representatives.

Our client is an online consumer forum platform for consumers to lodge their complaints against any brand in India. Oor client  helps consumers and brands in resolving complaints online. Designation: PR Specialist ( 6 days week)

Reporting to Sr Group Brand Manager

Location: Delhi(OKHLA)

We're looking for someone who has experience both as a PR specialist in a company and in a PR agency (should have knowledge of how both sides of the table work).

Responsibilities:
 - Plan and direct public relations programs designed to create and maintain a favorable public image for Akosha

 - Work with the external PR firm on a day-to-day basis to ensure optimal delivery of PR campaigns by maintaining a high level of communication with them

 - Create company literature and other forms of communication

 - Work with the marketing team to create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic

 - Work with advertisers for timely and useable ad submissions

 - Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications

 - Review email marketing campaigns

 - Make recommendations on site design and operation from a PR perspective

 - Work with manager and business units to manage any events organized by Akosha

 - Promote products and services through public relations initiatives

 - Develop marketing communications campaigns

 - Create content with an aim to establish Akosha as a thought leader in the industry

 - Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals

 - Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references

 - Research media coverage and industry trends

 - Develop fresh story ideas to leverage from a PR angle

 - Conduct extensive media outreach

 - Coordinate on conferences, trade shows, and press interviews

 - Help clarify Akosha's point of view to their main audience in case of any discrepancies
Requirements: 

- 3-6 years' relevant experience in the PR industry

 - Experience both as a PR specialist in a company and a PR agency is recommended (should have knowledge of how both sides of the table work)

 - Should have established connect with the media fraternity

- Understanding of web technologies is preferable, though not mandatory 

- Demonstrated experience in branding, positioning and lead-generation activities for a technology company 

- Outstanding communication skills – copywriting, web content, email campaign content writing, blogging, etc. 

-Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary
