Job Profile

The role provides leadership for the marketing team and will be responsible to develop and implement the brand strategy, stimulate demand through global & local marketing campaigns, track & measure campaign effectiveness, constantly improve upon resource allocation/effectiveness, nurture customer loyalty, leverage PR as a strategic tool, invest in research and databases for effective marketing.

  • Develop and deliver the marketing plan that will meet business objectives.
  • Execute go-to-market product marketing activities in line with the product business plan.
  • Track the Marketing activities and associated results, measure success and make adjustments to the plan as required.
  • Spend the budget to plan and demonstrate the return on investment for the budget and resources allocated.
  • Work very with sales and business teams to devise and execute scalable marketing programs to strengthen and accelerate the sales pipeline for new  customer acquisition and customer renewals .
  • Develop alliances with potential partners to improve marketing profitability / ROI.
  • Develop relevant product collateral such as product data sheets, presentations, sales tools and technical white papers .
  • Create , maintain and enhance the content of Freshdesk blog.
  • Manage and deliver launch communications, productivity materials and external messaging support.
  • Remain current to trends and issues as they relate to the product offering as well as emerging technologies, standards, and market trends.
  • Work closely with Sales to understand the needs of the marketplace; help to formulate future Product Marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Engage the relevant Media as Freshdesk thought-leader and spokesperson.
  • Attend relevant industry trade-shows, sponsorship and customer meetings.
