Our client is one of the biggest web hosting companies in Europe. They are currently expanding their Dubai team and are looking for awesome Javascript experts.

Designation: Javascript Developer
Experience: 3 - 6 years

Job Details:

As a JavaScript developer you will be a part of an existing development team, developing and improving a variety of rich Internet applications. The development team is primarily working on a gallery and a blog application. The applications are offered to all our customers as a part of their web space package.

You will be working with object oriented JavaScript, and experience with JavaScript framework is a requirement. The development team uses ExtJS but your experience is not required to be within this exact framework.

The right person

• Has experience with coding of web applications with AJAX

• Is an experienced developer with a good understanding of data structures and algorithms

• Has an experienced opinion on multiple front end technologies

• Has been working with interface development

• Seeks the best rather than the easiest solution

• Has experience with development of cross-browser compatible web applications

• Has the ability to grasp complex problems and understand code that has been written by other developers

• Has a relevant academic background, preferably in computer science

Additional skills taken into consideration are

• Object oriented JavaScript, ExtJS, JSON, XMLHttpRequest, the http-protocol, http-caching

• Load time optimization and runtime optimization in web browsers

• CSS and HTML

• A backend language e.g. Perl or PHP

• Mail-, address book- and calendar applications
